
Sean Harden, a Chicago South Side native, grew up with a strong work ethic, a passion for learning, and a commitment to giving back. As a leader in real estate development and community revitalization, Sean blends his expertise in complex negotiations with his deep knowledge of economic and social impact. He founded Hard Wright Development in 2022 to focus on commercial and residential development that promotes community reconstruction and growth. Since 2013, Sean has led Harden Wright Consultant Group, helping nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies with grant management, business development, and community engagement. Previously, he directed West Woodlawn's first block-wide development in 30 years, overseeing a multimillion-dollar investment in single-family homes, which exceeded ROI projections. Sean's career highlights include senior roles with Chicago Public Schools, the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, and the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), where he facilitated neighborhood revitalization projects across Chicago. As CEO of Goodcity, he revamped its model, opening new revenue streams for its incubator programs. Currently Chair of the Board for Friend Health Center, Sean is deeply involved in community leadership. He studied Business Administration and Marketing at Morehouse College and holds certifications in Project Management and Financial Analysis from DePaul University.
